Is There a Minimum Investment Requirement?
We believe financial advice and investment management should be accessible, regardless of where you are in your financial journey. At the same time, we’re committed to delivering value that meaningfully exceeds the advisory fees our clients pay.

Because of that, our business model is built around long-term relationships where we can provide thoughtful, ongoing guidance and personalized service in a sustainable way. While asset level is not the only factor, having sufficient investable assets helps ensure we can dedicate the time, attention, and resources needed to serve clients at the high level they deserve.

Our recommended minimum for investment management relationships is generally $100,000 in investable assets. However, many of our clients have $250,000 or more, particularly business owners, professionals, and families seeking comprehensive planning and fiduciary guidance.

We also proudly work with younger professionals who may be earlier in their financial journey but have strong incomes, ambitious goals, and a genuine commitment to building long-term financial success. If you’re serious about your financial future and value personalized advice, SEA Financial Hawaii is here to help guide the way.

How Much Do You Charge?
At SEA Financial Hawaii, we believe in full transparency—so you’ll always know exactly what you’re paying and the value you’re receiving in return. Our process typically begins with a one-time initial planning fee, tailored to the complexity of your unique situation and financial goals. For clients with more than $500,000 in assets under management (AUM), we provide comprehensive investment management and fiduciary planning services at a median annual advisory fee of approximately 0.95%, billed monthly. For clients with less than $500,000 in AUM, we offer personalized planning and investment guidance through a retainer-style model (monthly advisory fee), combined with a median investment management fee of approximately 1%.
